Short and sweet this week:-

This Sunday we have no organised sailing at Redhouse as so many of our regulars are participating in the East Cape All Class Provincial Regatta taking place all this weekend at Mossel Bay.

Good luck and happy sailing to everyone who will be representing and flying our Club flag at Mossel Bay this weekend.

The Spring Series resumes with the last two races and an 11h00 start next week Sunday 06 October to be followed by a bring-n-braai.

Sailing School will still be held as normal this Sunday from 10h00 till 12h30.

A BIG Thank You is extended to Sarah Arnold for generously giving up her Saturday night last weekend to coach our junior sailors on racing rules and tactical sailing. Sarah put a lot of work into her lesson which was really appreciated by all including yours truly - thank you Sarah.

Club Subs & Shed Rentals - A friendly reminder that your club subs and boatshed rentals for the 2008/9 sailing season are now due. If you have not received your account or need to make arrangements to pay your subs in installments please telephone Lawrie on (041) 373 1605.

The Viking Funeral scheduled for after the first race day of the River Championships on Saturday
22 November has been escalated to a whole night of fun for everyone. This event is destined to be one the highlights of the year - please diarise and keep this weekend open to be at Redhouse.

For those of you driving to Mossel Bay or elsewhere this school holiday have safe journey and enjoy yourselves.
