Hello all,

This weekend at Redhouse we have a very busy weekend on both the social and sailing scene.

On Saturday Night the Club celebrates it's 105th birthday with a big bash in the Village Hall.

The RYC 105th birthday dinner / dance celebration is sold out with standing room only for any who have forgotten to buy their tickets. A big thank you to everyone who is supporting this event and especially to our ladies who have worked extremely hard to make it the success we can all expect.

The fun starts with a welcome drink at 6.30pm to be followed by a three course dinner that will be served shortly after 7.00pm.

Once dinner is out of the way and before we move onto the dancing (American line dancing) we have a fun auction with some really great stuff so remember to bring your cheque book with you!

A full cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

On Sunday sailing starts bright and early with a 11.00am start that is bound to see many hungover members braving the nice 12knot southwester that is forecast.

Racing on Sunday will be followed by a bring 'n braai at which everyone is welcome.

Sailing School for both junior and senior sailors will be a short session starting at 10h00 this Sunday.

After the amount of capsising that happened last weekend coach Steve is looking forward to a big turnout, especially from seniors who he thinks need a lesson or two on how to keep their boats upright!

The Annual Inter-School Regatta held at RYC during March is looking for a new primary sponsor. The primary sponsor enjoys naming rights and may display as much promotional and advertising as they wish during this well supported event.

In addition to sponsoring the interschool's regatta the opportunity also exists for them (or another donor) to sponsor and enjoy naming rights of the RYC junior sailing school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a corporate sponsor so if your firm or anyone you know is interested please contact me or Andrew Butler a.s.a.p.
