A quick update ahead of the regular weekly newsletter.

The final results of the RYC Special Trophy race series have been posted on the Club web site.

Congratulations to the winners of this handicap series and a big thank you to each of the 24 entrants for making this series so successful. To view the results please click here.

Two quick reminders:-

1. / Please remember to book your table at the Bingo Bash this Saturday. There will be a special race that afternoon followed by supper and the bingo.

2. With less than three weeks till the first Inter Club Regatta to be held at George Lakes Yacht Club on 07 & 08 November please remember to diarise and support this event.

I have had a report that the weekly email newsletter is not able to be viewed on some computers. If your computer does not allow you to view the newsletter a copy is always also posted on the web page at http://www.ryc.co.za/newsletters.html

Another problem many experience is that of Telkom showing out-of-date cached copies of the Club web page. If you are unable to view the latest updates all you need do is press the CTRL and F5 keys simultaneously on your keyboard to force a refresh and display the new content.

It was fantastic seeing so many boats on the water and at the braai after sailing today – thank you!
